On Level-Compatible Algebra Functions and Their Transformers
نویسنده
چکیده
We develop the mathematical theory of algebra functions on for a finite alphabet , such that the functions are level-compatible when they are restricted to the different levels according to . We shall first establish the fundamentals and the structure of such function spaces and the related properties, and propose and study the all important level-preserving transformers there. We shall then look into the the automaton representations of the level-compatible algebra functions, the characterisation of the level-preserving transformers, as well as the potential applications at calculation of real-valued functions, fractal generations and even the compression of natural images.

Characterizing sub-topical functions
In this paper, we first give a characterization of sub-topical functions with respect to their lower level sets and epigraph. Next, by using two different classes of elementary functions, we present a characterization of sub-topical functions with respect to their polar functions, and investigate the relation between polar functions and support sets of this class of functions. Finally, we obtai...
متن کاملTowards squiggly refinement algebra
The algebra of functions and relations has been used so successfully in program construction that textbooks have appeared. Despite the importance of predicate transformers in imperative programming, the algebra of transformers has been less explored. To show its promise, we prove results on exponents and recursion on inductive data types, sufficient for carrying out a polytypic derivation that ...
متن کاملAlgebra of Monotonic Boolean Transformers
Algebras of imperative programming languages have been successful in reasoning about programs. In general an algebra of programs is an algebraic structure with programs as elements and with program compositions (sequential composition, choice, skip) as algebra operations. Various versions of these algebras were introduced to model partial correctness, total correctness, refinement, demonic choi...
متن کامل$C$-class functions on common fixed point theorems for weak contraction mapping of integral type in modular spaces
In this paper, we use the concept of $C$-class functions introduced by Ansari [4] to prove the existence and uniqueness of common fixed point for self-mappings in modular spaces of integral inequality. Our results extended and generalized previous known results in this direction.
متن کاملOn Character Space of the Algebra of BSE-functions
Suppose that $A$ is a semi-simple and commutative Banach algebra. In this paper we try to characterize the character space of the Banach algebra $C_{rm{BSE}}(Delta(A))$ consisting of all BSE-functions on $Delta(A)$ where $Delta(A)$ denotes the character space of $A$. Indeed, in the case that $A=C_0(X)$ where $X$ is a non-empty locally compact Hausdroff space, we give a complete characterizatio...
